architecture

In the northern urban expansion area, directly in front of the railway bridge spanning the Hermann Piecq facility , there is a four-axis plastered building with three floors; in a symmetrical arrangement and a facade design that only varies in detail with the neighboring house No. 17 as a two- house composition .

Asymmetrical façade structure through pilaster framing of the second left axes across floors ; Horizontal arrangement by means of a sill, floor and eaves cornice. Ground floor in imitation rustication, upper floors smoothly plastered. All wall openings in the facade - with the exception of the deeply cut entrance niche on the left - are uniformly rectangular in shape and framed in different storeys. The windows on the first floor are cut smoothly into the wall surface and emphasized by keystones . Timber-topped frames surround the windows on the first floor; that of the emphasized axis is additionally emphasized by a plastically formulated aedicle imitation . On the second floor, the openings are decorated more simply with round-arch crowned ears. A gently sloping gable roof closes the building off over a far projecting, console-supported eaves cornice .
