Ferenc Habony

Ferenc Habony (born February 26, 1945 in Budapest ) is a former Hungarian cyclist and national champion in cycling .

Athletic career

Habony was a track cyclist and participated in the 1964 Summer Olympics in Tokyo . There he started in the 1000 meter time trial and finished 18th in Patrick Sercu's victory . He also started in the sprint and tandem race with Richárd Bicskey (both took 5th place).

At the Hungarian championships, he won a total of 14 titles in different disciplines (sprint, time trial, two-man team driving , team pursuit ).
