Vacation destination travel
Travel to holiday destinations is defined in Section 48 (2) of the Passenger Transport Act . They belong to the mode of transport of occasional traffic .

The law provides for several features. So it has to be a recreational stay. The entrepreneur draws up the travel plan , the passengers have no influence on the design of the journey. All passengers have a common travel destination, although the route is not fixed. The decisive feature compared to the regular service is that all passengers are brought to and from one location. The entrepreneur offers these trips for a "total fee for transport and accommodation with or without meals". The district offices or city administrations give the approval for the implementation. This also applies to cross-border holiday trips.
