Fernand Bueb

Fernand Bueb (born December 12, 1865 in Mulhouse ; † after 1906 ) was a journalist and member of the German Reichstag ( SPD ).

Life

Bueb attended elementary and middle school in Mulhouse. Afterwards he worked as a baker and legal assistant. After completing his military service, he was an insurance agent. In 1891 he founded the Alsace-Lorraine People's Newspaper , which supported the policies of the Social Democrats. He was a member of the municipal council of Mulhouse and the district council of Upper Alsace.

From 1893 to April 1900 he was a member of the German Reichstag for the constituency Reichsland Elsaß-Lothringen 2 ( Mulhouse ) and the SPD. After failing in local elections, he was pressured to resign. On April 25, 1900, he resigned from the Reichstag. As a result, he withdrew from politics. His trail is lost in 1906, he probably emigrated to the USA.
