Fernanda Pinheiro Monteiro Torres (born September 15, 1965 in Rio de Janeiro ) is a Brazilian actress .
Life
Fernanda Torres is the daughter of Oscar-nominated actress Fernanda Montenegro and film director Fernando Torres . She is married to the film producer and director Andrucha Waddington , with whom she made the film Casa de Areia in 2005 , in which she and her mother stood in front of the camera. The film received an award at the 2006 Sundance Film Festival and was shown in Germany at the 2006 Berlinale . However, she had already celebrated her greatest international success 20 years earlier when she won the actor's award for the film Eu Sei Que Vou Te Amar (Love Me Forever or Never) at the 1986 Cannes Film Festival as a young actress .
