Fernandes Guitars
Fernandes Guitars is a Japanese manufacturer of guitars and basses.
history
The company was founded in 1969 and initially built flamenco guitars . In the years that followed, the company expanded its product range to include electric guitars , bass guitars and guitar amplifiers .
In the 1970s Fernandes developed into a leading Japanese quality supplier of Fender copies.
Gibson copies, played by Steve Hackett , for example, are also offered under the name Burny . Later, own guitar models were developed.
Sustainer
The Fernandes Sustainer is well known , a system that allows the guitar strings to vibrate for as long as desired via a controlled electrical feedback . The system was also used by other guitar manufacturers.
