Fernando Blanco (born June 4, 1951 ), also known by the nickname Pipo , is a retired Mexican football player who initially acted in attacking midfield and later in attack .
Life
Blanco was part of the squad of the Mexican selection at the 1972 Olympic football tournament and was used in five of the six Mexican games.
Nevertheless, the player who was under contract with CD Veracruz at the time was denied a major career and was only part of a team playing in the highest Mexican league for a few seasons .
