Fernando Güell
Fernando Güell (* 1959 in Barcelona ; sometimes Guell ) is a Spanish comic artist and art director of ECN. He was thus best known for his work for Disney .
Life
Güell was born in Barcelona in 1959, his mother was an illustrator. At the age of 9, the boy sent some drawings to the Walt Disney Company. He was then advised to be patient a little longer, but to continue drawing. At the age of 14 he had already illustrated and published four children's books.
From then on he worked as an artist and at the same time attended an art academy for five years . In 1977 he started to work as a freelancer . From 1981 to 1986 Fernando Güell drew for Egmont Ehapa Verlag . He still does that today, taking on many different roles until he became art director in 2000.
Although Güell has painted many cartoon characters, Mickey Mouse is his absolute favorite.
