Fernando Mariaca
Fernando Mariaca González de Artaza (born May 30, 1959 in Gopegui ) is a former Spanish weightlifter .
He finished fourteenth in featherweight at the 1981 World Championships . In 1984 he took part in the Olympic Games in Los Angeles and was twelfth in the lightweight. He achieved the same place at the 1985 World Championships . At the Olympic Games in Seoul, he was tested positive in the doping control and disqualified. In 1990 he came in eleventh place at the World Championships . At the European Championships in 1992 he was ninth. In the same year he competed in his third Olympic Games in Barcelona but had no valid attempt.
