Fernando Soledade was a Brazilian sports shooter .

Career

Fernando Soledade took part in the 1920 Olympic Games in Antwerp in four disciplines. With the free pistol , he finished behind in the individual competition over 50 m with 424 points. In the team competition, however, he won the bronze medal together with Afrânio da Costa , Guilherme Parãense , Sebastião Wolf and Dario Barbosa with 2264 points behind the US and Swedish teams. In the competition with the military revolver at 30 m, Soledade did not achieve a top placement with 248 points, while he just missed another medal win with the team in fourth. He had already won the Brazilian championships in 1909 and 1910.

Soledade was a doctor by profession and was active in both the Brazilian Rifle Federation and the Brazilian Army.
