Fernando de Felipe

Fernando de Felipe Allué (* 1965 in Saragossa ) is a Spanish comic book and screenwriter.

life and work

Fernando de Felipe drew comics for the Spanish magazines Totem and Zona 84 from the late 1980s, mainly in the field of science fiction. In 1992 he created the adaptation of Victor Hugo's historical novel The Laughing Man and the black humor episode comic Museum , both of which were published in German by Alpha Comic Verlag . Museum was awarded the prize for the best work by a Spanish author at the Salón Internacional del Cómic de Barcelona and was nominated for the best foreign language album in Angoulême .

From the 2000s he wrote screenplays for films, including the horror film Darkness .

He is professor of film history at the Ramon Llull University in Barcelona.
