The Ramon Llull University (short form: URL) ( Catalan Universitat Ramon Llull ) is a private university in Barcelona . It was founded on March 1st, 1990, named after the Catalan philosopher Ramon Llull and approved by the Parliament of Catalonia on May 10th, 1991.

Currently, Ramon Llull University offers 46 courses in architecture , business administration , teaching and education, social work, tourism , health sciences , design , engineering , law, humanities and chemistry .
