The University of Burgos ( Spanish: Universidad de Burgos ) is a state university that emerged in 1994 from the separation of the campus in Burgos from the University of Valladolid .

The faculties and institutes are spread over two campuses :

  • San Amaro / Hospital del Rey: The Hospital del Rey is to the west of Burgos . There you will find the rectorate , the central administration, the university library and the cafeteria .
  • Río Vena / Vigón: In the center of the city you will find the original seat of the Polytechnic High School and the buildings of the Universidad Nacional de Educación a Distancia (UNED, "National Distance University ").
