Catholic University Ávila Saint Theresa of Jesus ( Spanish : Universidad Católica Santa Teresa de Jesús de Ávila, UCAV) is a university in the Spanish city ​​of Ávila , nicknamed Saint Theresa of Jesus .

history

On August 24, 1996, under the supervision of the Bishop of Ávila, the construction of the university began . The educational institution has been approved by the Holy See and the Spanish state . The financial regulations are taken over by the bishop in Ávila, the Catholic Church takes over the guarantee and in 1998 and 1999 the state and church license to teach was granted.
