The Episcopal Catholic University of Valencia "Saint Vincent the Martyrs" (Span .: Universidad Católica de Valencia San Vicente Mártir ; abbreviation UCV) is a private university under Roman Catholic ownership based in Valencia , Spain .

University

The college was founded by Archbishop Agustín García-Gasco Vicente on December 8, 2003 with state recognition. It is named after the martyr Vincent of Valencia . The college was preceded by the Edetania College of Education (* 1969) and the Edetania Foundation (* 1974) as well as a contractual agreement between the Archbishop of Valencia Miguel Roca Cabanellas and the University of Valencia from 1979. The Grand Chancellor is currently Antonio Cardinal Cañizares Llovera , Archbishop of Valencia.

The university offers Bachelor, Master and PhD degrees in education and training.
