The lecture notes revolve around the poetological question of how the world is transformed into text. Feridun Zaimoglu read in three lectures “About the everyday life of the writer”. The 9-page interview with the writer Feridun Zaimoglu, which was conducted by Philipp Ostrowicz in the book Against the Cultural Force : Migration, Culturalization and World Literature (2009), published by Özkan Ezli, Dorothee Kimmich and Annette Wehrberger, was expressly against the background of the publication of Zaimoglu's poetological lectures guided.

The volume, which was published on September 19, 2008, was officially presented at the 2008 Frankfurt Book Fair . At a final joint reading by the two authors in connection with their lectureship, the Kunsthalle Würth was not enough to accommodate all the visitors.
