Würth Literature Prize

The Würth Literature Prize is announced at the end of the Tuebingen poetics lectureship . It was launched in 1996 and is funded by Adolf Würth GmbH & Co KG in Künzelsau. The respective poetics lecturer presents the topic in his last lecture. Not only the direct listeners of the poetics lectureship are called to participate, but all authors who want to deal with this subject in a literary and productive way.

The Würth Literature Prize has been awarded since 1996 and is endowed with 7,500 euros, whereby this amount is divided between the two award winners in tranches that differ from year to year.

The jury is made up of: Hans-Ulrich Grunder (educational scientist, Basel); Dorothee Kimmich (literary scholar and organizer of the poetics lectureship, University of Tübingen); Karl-Heinz Ott (writer, Freiburg); Manfred Papst (head of the culture department, Neue Zürcher Zeitung am Sonntag); Thomas Scheuffelen (Professor of Literary Studies, TU Darmstadt). The jury is headed by Philipp Alexander Ostrowicz (Copenhagen Business School, Copenhagen).
