Gerhard Dick (* 1949 in Pfaffenhofen an der Ilm ) is a German German philologist, writer and retired high school teacher.

Life

Dick grew up as the oldest of three siblings in Bad Reichenhall . His mother came from Königsberg , his father from Pfaffenhofen. Georg Ringsgwandl was one of his school friends at the Karlsgymnasium in Bad Reichenhall . After graduating from high school in Berchtesgaden in 1972, he studied German , English and Romance languages ​​at the Albert-Ludwigs-Universität Freiburg and then worked full-time as a high school teacher in England, then in Munich and from 1978 until his retirement as a teacher for German and English at the high school Immenstadt in Immenstadt in the Allgäu .
