The founder of "Corbin Fisher", Jason Gibson, who sometimes appears in business under the pseudonym of the same name, previously worked as a police officer and as a manager for resource orientation . With an interest in pornography, he filmed men on weekends after work. In January 2004, he finally founded the website for "Corbin Fisher" in San Diego , and the business grew rapidly. The website amateurcollegemen.com was also launched in 2004 under his direction. In a 2006 interview he said about the business: “It's been a steep learning curve . The parent company of Corbin Fisher was founded in 2005 by the managing director Jason Gibson as "Excelsior Productions". Brian Dunlap became Marketing Director in November 2005. In February 2006, Corbin Fisher sponsored The Gay Phoenix Forum, an event hosted for webmasters and visitors to homosexual-themed websites. The company also moved to Las Vegas, Nevada in February 2011.

In August 2006, Corbin Fisher launched the website amateurcollegesex.com , which is described as a straight male conception niche. Brian Dunlap described this site with the concept as a complement to the website amateurcollegesex.com that the boys are straight , on this website you can see what they do when the cameras are not on, to convey who these guys really are . As of August 2007, amateurcollegemen.com had over 500 solo and hardcore videos. In August 2008, Corbin Fisher was described as a website offering content showing homosexual activities between young and attractive boys from universities. It was also stated that most of the performers were straight.
The first DVD was established in September 2008 under the title The Best of Lucas: Volume I published. The DVD deals with five scenes from the then popular actor Lucas , who was one of the first straight actors to take part in homosexual sex scenes on the website. Bruno Gmunder was responsible for the distribution of the DVDs in Europe.
In July 2009, Bel Ami chose Corbin Fisher as the first collaboration partner with a studio in the United States for the production of the film "Five Americans in Prague". The film was produced in San Francisco , Prague and Budapest . The first scene was released that same month. The negotiations between the two companies included cross-platform marketing and different additional content was published on both websites.
Two other websites guysgonebi.com and corbinscoeds.com were launched in January and February 2011. The first website is a video of two men and one woman performing sexual acts. While many of the videos published there were also published via amateurcollegesex.com , half of the videos remained exclusive there. However, this website was deactivated in October 2011. Corbinscoeds.com maintains all of the straight scenes from americancollegesex.com and americancollegemen.com .
With corbinfisherlive.com , the company released a platform for video conferencing by actors for the first time in October 2013 , where the audience can chat with the actors.
Copyright lawsuits
In October 2009, Corbin Fisher won a lawsuit against Hunkfest . According to Marc J. Randazza, Hunkfest is said to have illegally offered videos by Corbin Fisher via a mobile app .
The company received $ 990,000 in a lawsuit in US federal court in February 2010 from a private individual who illegally copied 66 DVDs from the company and sold them on eBay .
In March 2011, Corbin Fisher sued 40,000 people for copyright infringement. This attracted attention in the gay scene as there were many youngsters among them who could be outed by the lawsuits . It was speculated on the forums that some would commit suicide. However, Corbin Fisher denied this and stated that in no case did suicide result. The company accommodated the defendants and offered to pay a one-time fee of $ 1,000. After a Swedish man wrote a satirical email to Corbin Fisher, he was also reported. The man wrote that he had illegally downloaded content from Corbin Fisher and that the money would be paid for by a pot of gold he received from a leprechaun "at the end of the rainbow".
