The Kékestető TV tower is a 178 meter high TV tower on the 1014 meter high Kékes [ˈkeːkɛʃ] mountain in the Mátra Mountains in Hungary . The Kékestető television tower has a viewing platform at a height of 135 meters, which is the highest in Hungary open to the public. The antenna mast of the television tower is guyed to the ground. Like the Gerbrandytoren in the Netherlands, it is a mixed construction consisting of a free-standing tower and a guyed transmitter mast.
