Feroze Gandhi

Feroze Jehangir Gandhi (born Feroze Jehangir Ghandy, Firoz Jahangīr Gāndhī , Hindi फिरोज जहाँगीर गांधी; born August 12, 1912 in Bombay , † September 8, 1960 in New Delhi ) was an Indian politician and journalist . He was neither related nor related by marriage with Mahatma Gandhi .

He was a member of the first Indian parliament ( Lok Sabha ) for the Congress Party from 1952 to 1957 and husband of the future Indian Prime Minister Indira Gandhi , whom he married in 1942. The marriage resulted in two sons, Rajiv and Sanjay Gandhi . Rajiv Gandhi later also became Prime Minister of India. Feroze Gandhi was Parse . He died of a heart attack in 1960.
