Ferrante III. Gonzaga
Ferrante III. Gonzaga (born April 4, 1618 in Mantua , † January 11, 1678 in Guastalla ) was the son of Duke Cesare II Gonzaga of Guastalla and his successor since 1632.
He married on June 25, 1647 Margherita d'Este (* 1619 - November 12, 1692), daughter of Duke Alfonso III. d'Este of Modena and Isabellas of Savoy (born March 11, 1591 - † August 22, 1626). With her he had two daughters:
- Anna Isabella Gonzaga (February 12, 1655 - August 11, 1703) ⚭ 1670 Carlo IV. Gonzaga (1652–1708), Duke of Mantua and Montferrat
- Maria Vittoria Gonzaga (September 9, 1659 - September 5, 1707) ⚭ 1679 Vincenzo Gonzaga (1634–1714), Duke of Guastalla since 1692
After the death of Ferrantes III. the Duchy of Guastalla was the forced administration assumed before it was handed over to his son Vincenzo Gonzaga 1,692th
