Ferro alloy

Several alloys of iron ( Latin: ferrum ) are referred to as ferroalloys . They usually contain a high proportion of the respective alloy partner and are used as master alloys for steel production.

Ferronickel can be produced using the Krupp racing process . Ferromanganese is mostly produced in blast furnaces ( Japan , China and Russia ).
