The Tokyo Fire Department ( Japanese 消防 庁 , Tōkyō shōbō-chō , "Tokyo Fire Department") is subordinate to the government of Tokyo Prefecture , which consists of the area of ​​the former city ​​of Tokyo , the Tama area and the Izu and Ogasawara Islands . Fire Brigade Museum

The Tokyo Fire Brigade Museum is located at the Fire Station at Yotsuya 3-10, Shinjuku-ku. Historical fire extinguishers as well as uniforms, models and modern fire engines are exhibited on a total of five floors. A walk-in, decommissioned helicopter is installed on the roof.
