Fflur

Fflur ("flower") is in the Celtic mythology of Wales a legendary figure from the Welsh Triads , the lover of Caswallawn .

Fflur is the daughter of the dwarf Mygnach and is kidnapped by Caesar during his first campaign in Britain. Her lover Caswallawn then pursues Caesar to Gaul , in another version to Rome , in order to free her. He is said to have pretended to be a cobbler in order to get close to Fflur. He succeeds in killing 6,000 Romans and saving Fflur. Caesar then leads a second campaign in which Caswallawn is besieged and forced into submission.
