Fiadone

Fiadone

The Fiadone is a kind of cheese cake without soil from Corsica and from Brocciu , a Corsican cream cheese from sheep or goat milk produced. Other ingredients of the cake are sugar, lemon and eggs. The Fiadone is served cold. Brocciu is similar to the Italian ricotta .

In Abruzzo and Molise , Fiadone is known as sweet dumplings filled with ricotta, which are mainly served at Easter .
