The Field Glacier is a glacier on the Loubet Coast of Graham Land on the Antarctic Peninsula . It flows south of Salmon Cove in a westerly direction to Lallemand Fjord .
Aerial photographs of the Falkland Islands and Dependencies Aerial Survey Expedition (FIDASE, 1956–1957) were used to map it. The UK Antarctic Place-Names Committee named it on September 23, 1960 after the American glaciologist and geodesist William Bradhurst Osgood Field (1904-1994) of the American Geographical Society .
