Fietback

Fietback (actually Christian Fiete Schlösser ; born July 11, 1980 in Hanover ) is a German DJ , director , video artist , organizer and musician .

Meaning of the name

His stage name Fietback results in part from his middle name. Secondly, he turned at the beginning of his musical activity feedback techniques with DJ - mixing consoles in to synthesizer sounds to create, which he in turn by sampling allowed to flow into his productions. He made his first appearances under the pseudonym Fietologist

Musical career

Schlösser's musical career was largely shaped by turntablism and techno culture of the 1990s. Even today he tries to combine both trends in his DJ sets.

From the year 2000 he appeared for the first time regionally as a DJ under the pseudonym "Fietologist". Under the pseudonym Fietback, he organized the party series “Elektro Pogo Riot” (2004-2010) and “Digithek” (2010-2011) in Hanover from 2004 onwards. In addition to other regional and national artists, he was there as a DJ behind the turntables.

Since 2011 there has been a collaboration with Westbam , for whom he realized various video projects.

In his own projects (most recently “Robot Front Machine” and “The Panic!”) Fietback combines visual art and music production into an overall aesthetic concept.

Today Fietback works as a DJ, musician and director.
