The Fife Ice Arena (formerly Kirkcaldy Ice Rink ) is an ice hockey rink in Kirkcaldy , Scotland .
history
The stadium was opened in 1938 after a year of construction and has since served as the home ground of the professional ice hockey team Fife Flyers , which has competed in the Elite Ice Hockey League since 2011 . In addition to ice hockey, the Fife Ice Arena is the venue for various boxing matches and curling events . The 1982 European Curling Championship took place in the arena, among other places. Occasionally there are also concerts in the arena.
