Figure in Frame are a rock band from Vienna, founded in 2006 .
Career
The band was founded in 2007 by Peter Brunner and Michael Lenzinger. The two created a demo album and added guitarist Reinisch and drummer Arslan to the band. The following year a first real self-produced EP was created. In addition, they made a name for themselves with their live performances. In November 2008, based on online voting and a jury's decision, they were named Rookie of the Year in a competition organized by Diesel: U: Music and gotv .
In 2009, Figure in Frame released their debut album entitled Small Global Tragedies .
In the summer of the same year, José Feliciano called on the Austrian musicians to create their own interpretations of his number one hit from 1988, The Sound of Vienna . Also Figure in Frame participated in it and performed their version of the end of August at a charity gala in front. When this version appeared on single together with the song Scream Now , it helped the band to a chart hit in Austria.
