history
The church in Inzell was built in 1155 by an imperial count who was rescued on the Danube at risk of death. According to Benno Ulm , the sacred building is Romanesque. The church, gradually threatened with decay, was thoroughly renovated in 1985. The bell is from 1655. The church is owned by the community of Haibach ob der Donau, because in 1791 the church was handed over by the diocese of Linz to the community of Haibach ob der Donau, as the then pastor Silvester Meyer had refused to grant the church take over.
Every year on August 6th the traditional ship's people fair takes place in Inzell.
