The Roman Catholic parish church of Haibach ob der Donau is located in the municipality of Haibach ob der Donau in the Eferding district in Upper Austria . It is consecrated to St. Ulrich and belongs to the Deanery Eferding in the Diocese of Linz . The building was a listed building until the end of 2019 ( list entry ).

The church is first mentioned in a document in 1121.

Church exterior

The church is an originally Gothic country church, which was later completely redesigned in Baroque style . The tower in the southern choir corner has a newer pointed helmet.

Church interior

The Gothic church has a single nave with four bay bays. The drafted choir has two bays and ends in the 3/8 end. Both the nave and the choir are barrel vaulted with stab cap . The two-bay west gallery is three-axis and rests on the square vaults .

Furnishing

The high altar is built in the neo-renaissance style. The altarpiece from the second quarter of the 19th century is by Johannes Höfel . The rococo side altars were created in the third quarter of the 18th century. The pulpit and the organ case date from the first half of the 18th century and were later changed. In the church there are three good baroque statues from the middle of the 18th century. They represent the " Mater Dolorosa ", St. Donatus and St. Florian . The baroque baptismal font has a baptismal group.
