The Roman Catholic branch church Mühlleiten is located in the Mühlleiten district in the municipality of Groß-Enzersdorf in the Gänserndorf district in Lower Austria . It is consecrated to Mariahilf and belongs to the parish Groß-Enzersdorf in the Marchfeld deanery in the vicariate Unter dem Manhartsberg of the Archdiocese of Vienna . The building is under monument protection ( list entry ).

Location description

The church stands at the southern end of the village square of the Mühlleiten settlement.

architecture

Church exterior

The building from the first half of the 18th century is a small baroque village church with a simple facade structure. On the entrance side it has a cornice gable, above which there is a roof turret made of wood. The windows are segmented arched.

Church interior

The interior is simply designed and vaulted . The end is flat and round.

Furnishing

On the small baroque altar is the miraculous image "Mariahilf" from the first half of the 18th century. The oval window in the choir is integrated into the altar. The tabernacle is flanked by adoring angels. The figure of St. Florian comes from the 18th century.
