The parish church of St. Josef in Franzensdorf was built in the late Classicist style in 1842 . The mighty longitudinal building has a dominant west facade with pilaster structure , console frieze , triangular gable , a small lunette window above the entrance and above it a small facade tower , which is crowned by a Biedermeier helmet. The elongated nave and the drawn-in choir are both opened through lunette windows. A smaller sacristy adjoins the choir to the west .

At its core, it is an early Gothic pillar basilica from the late 13th century, which received a choir and a tower elevation at the end of the 14th century and was converted to Baroque style in the second half of the 17th century. Some minor changes date back to the 19th century.

The simple, square vaulted interior has a flat, rounded finish. The small baroque altar, in which the small oval window of the choir is integrated, has a Mariahilf miraculous image from the construction period. The tabernacle is flanked by adoring angels. The branch church of St. John the Baptist in Oberhausen is a simple baroque building from 1650/1653 on the earth structure of a medieval house mountain complex. The church has a low nave with small arched windows, an octagonal east tower that is also the choir, with small acoustic windows and a pyramid helmet, and a sacristy. The single nave nave is barrel vaulted inside. The choir and the sacristy have groin vaults. The furnishings are uniformly baroque and date from the late 17th century. John the Baptist is depicted on the altar panel from the early 18th century . The left side altar shows a portrait of Mariahilf as an altarpiece, the right Johannes Nepomuk. The organ was built in 1913 by Johann M. Kaufmann.

The furnishings include a remarkable picture of the death of St. Joseph from the late 18th century and a Baroque figure of Mary with child from the first half of the 18th century.

The branch church of St. Nikolaus at the southern end of Schönau an der Donau is a simple baroque village church from 1768 with a north tower crowned by a pointed gable. In the east there is a small vestibule with a volute gable. The two-bay, barrel-vaulted nave has stitch caps over straps on flat wall templates. The equally wide and slightly raised choir has a three-sixth note. The small late baroque columned altar from the construction period bears an altarpiece with a representation of St. Nikolaus, which is inscribed with Johann Cimbal . The furnishings include figures of Saints Peter and Paul, a late Gothic figure of St. Nicholas, which is assigned to the late 15th century, and simple stained glass windows from the early 20th century.

The branch church of St. Nikolaus in the center of Wittau is integrated into a row of houses. It is a simple late baroque building from the second half of the 18th century. The nave shows a strict structure of pilaster strips between arched windows and the surrounding cornice and has an exposed east tower, which is also the choir and is crowned by a steep pointed spire. Inside, the three-bay nave has a square vault between belts that rests on flat pillars, as well as a surrounding cornice. A round-arched triumphal arch leads to the groin-vaulted choir with a straight end on the ground floor of the tower. To the south there is a groin-vaulted sacristy. The small late baroque altar was made in the late 18th century. The altarpiece shows St. Nicholas. In the excerpt the Holy Spirit is shown. Further furnishings include two baroque figures of hll. Peter and Paul from the late 18th century.

The Smola barracks, named after Major General Joseph Freiherr von Smola (1764-1820), was built in 1936. The five-story main building, with a recessed middle section and stepped gable, is surrounded by one to three-story auxiliary buildings.
