The simple building with a late baroque core and an accentuated tower facade was changed in the second half of the 19th century. A rose window can be seen above the ogival portal . A small sacristy adjoins the slightly retracted choir . The two-bay nave has a groin vault between belts on flat pillars . It is opened by a round triumphal arch to a slightly raised choir with a straight end. The furnishings include wall paintings, tondi with christological symbols, a wooden organ gallery from the end of the 19th century and a baroque crucifix from the 18th century.

The simple and modern church was built by Karl Grabenweger in 1949 in place of a chapel . The dominant tower facade is pierced by a round arched portal with niches with figures of St. Urban and another male saint is flanked. The high tower has coupled sound windows and is crowned by a pyramid helmet. The rectangular nave has high arched windows. The interior has a flat wooden ceiling and decorative glass windows in the oval apse. A crucifix from the 18th century is placed above the altar. The simple neo-Gothic altar in the vestibule comes from the former chapel and was made at the end of the 19th century.

The early historic village church with a dominating, three-story tower facade and adjoining nave was built in the second quarter of the 19th century at the western end of the Angers von Gösting. The facades have arched style structures and arched windows. The vestibule has a groin vault. The nave has a stuccoed flat ceiling over a surrounding cornice. The decorative glass windows are a work of the year 1830. Further fittings include the pictures of the Stations of the Cross made in the middle of the 19th century.

The parish church of St. Rosalia is a mighty baroque church built between 1731 and 1733, which is visible from afar and which is elevated in the north-west above the town. The high nave is structured by pilasters, has high-lying segmental arched windows and a richly profiled, surrounding cornice. The simple west facade has a slightly curved gable crowned by a small triangle and a younger vestibule. Towards the east, the slightly recessed circular choir rises up the steep, four-storey tower from 1762 with a baroque onion helmet. Its facade has a simple structure with pilasters and arched windows.

The late Gothic church from the 15th century was baroque redesigned around 1700. The high nave has a simple west facade with a baroque porch, above the surrounding cornice a stepped, two-story, strict volute gable with corner vase, strong buttresses, lunette windows , to the south a walled baroque portal, volute roofing and an exposed corner cuboid. The retracted choir has buttresses and small oval windows. In the south there is a Gothic shoulder arch portal, which is partially overlapped by the three-storey tower. The tower has a simple plaster band structure, arched sound windows and a baroque onion helmet.

The parish church of St. Georg is a simple baroque building with a medieval core. The originally Gothic nave was rebuilt in the second half of the 19th century. The baroque choir and the south tower date from the first half of the 18th century. The strict west facade is characterized by lunette windows and triangular gables. The nave has strong struts, lunette windows and then a flat-arched choir. A two-storey tower with a pointed helmet rises in the south and a younger sacristy annex to the north.

The local chapel of the Transfiguration of Christ is originally a small baroque chapel from 1726, which was later given a longhouse-like extension, which was replaced in 1977 by a simple but larger new building with arched windows, a mighty saddle roof and a small turret. To the west is the much narrower, groin-vaulted choir - the former chapel - with a straight end, pilaster strips and a surrounding cornice. The interior has a wooden coffered ceiling. Remarkable baroque wall paintings date from the first quarter of the 18th century: On the straight altar wall a painted altar with a central depiction of Maria Immaculata; in the vault spandrels the four evangelists, framed by rich decorations; remains of angels in the vaults.

The pilgrimage church Maria Moos was founded in the 12th century by Albero III. Built by Kuenring in place of an early medieval well sanctuary as a Romanesque east tower church, expanded Gothic in the 13th and 14th centuries and redesigned in Baroque style in the 17th century. The broad building has a mighty gable roof, a high east tower, a simple west facade and a rectangular portal with a crowning gable.

In the town center there is a high Corinthian column with Maria Immaculata surrounded by putti and clouds, crowned by a Trinity group and with reliefs of Saints Augustine, Rosalia and Ambrosius on the base. Figures of Saints Rochus, Sebastian, Karl Borromäus and Johannes Nepomuk can be seen on the corner volutes. The memorial is inscribed with 1747.

The four-wing, two-storey rectory - a former Franciscan monastery in direct connection to the church - encloses a square courtyard. It was built between 1627 and 1640 and redesigned at the beginning of the 19th century. The simple facade with wide pilaster strips has a Zwettler monastery coat of arms marked 1820 above the basket arch portal. The windows on the first floor have wrought iron bars from the first quarter of the 18th century. The courtyard facade has strong pilasters and an accentuated cornice. The corridors on the courtyard side were probably originally open and have heavy groin vaults on cornice consoles. The ballroom on the upper floor has a hollow vault and is decorated with idyllic landscape frescoes from the beginning of the 19th century. The furnishings include a baroque image of St. George, a baroque figure of St. Florian, a mission cross from the first half of the 18th century and a marble pietà from the 17th century.

The medieval city ​​fortifications - a reinforced curtain wall over an oval ground plan depending on the terrain - was originally surrounded by a wall and a moat. From 1723 the outer wall area was built. At the beginning of the 19th century, the ramparts were removed, the moat filled in and the gates demolished. The tower of the southwestern gate was included in the city castle. On the north and west side, the wall has been preserved throughout, but partially built in and disturbed by recent break-ins. On the north side is the so-called Younger Gate with a staircase that leads to the Old Market.

The Stadtpfarrkirche Kreuzerhöhung , built between 1627 and 1640, is a former Franciscan church with an adjoining former monastery, which is now used as a parsonage. It has a mighty, baroque structure with a raised north facade, a colossal pilaster structure with a richly cranked cornice, a simple rectangular portal, arched windows and a crowning volute gable with a triangular end. The simply designed nave with high lunette windows is partly included in the construction of the monastery. In the northeast there is a tall tower with a polygonal sound storey and round arched sound windows.

The so-called bread loaf column, an approximately three meter high quadrangular column made of sandstone with a two-step footplate, rises southeast of the center of Zistersdorf.
