The Roman Catholic branch church Ottenthal is located in Ottenthal in the municipality of Großriedenthal in the Tulln district in Lower Austria . The branch church of the parish church Kirchberg am Wagram , consecrated to St. Ulrich , belongs to the Hadersdorf dean's office in the vicariate Unter dem Manhartsberg of the Archdiocese of Vienna . The church is a listed building .

history

The church was consecrated in 1726 and re-consecrated in 1794 after a fire. The southern extension and the tower were built in 1870. The church was restored in 1985.

architecture

The simple baroque church building with a round apse shows on the outside a square stone in the plaster and round arched windows with bezels. The south-facing extension also connects to the residential building next to it. The tower has a pointed gable helmet.

The three-bay nave with a barrel vault over belts has a surrounding cornice. The south-facing two-storey extension with an open gallery has a flat ceiling. The stained glass is from 1936 and 1942.

Furnishing

The neo-baroque high altar bears the figures of Maria with child and Ulrich and Leopold. The Stations of the Cross were created around 1900.
