history
In 1757 the first church, a thatched timber structure, was built in Podler. However, this was replaced by today's brick church between 1794 and 1799. In 1829 the three-storey south tower with an octagonal pointed helmet was built.
Architecture and equipment
The Antoniuskirche is a small classical building with an almost square nave, a retracted, semicircular apse and an exposed west tower.
The church has a flat ceiling and a simple gallery. The altar with tabernacle dates from 1809 to 1810.
On the wall there is an oil painting of St. Anthony of Padua, the church patron. It was painted by Johann Krutzinger in 1863.
