Building description

The church is a small Gothic building. The polygonal choir is supported by buttresses . A sacristy from the 19th century and a chapel from the 16th century are attached to the north side . The north-western tower with arched bi-ore windows is crowned by a slender, pointed roof. The west portal is framed by pilasters on the sides and a cornice on top. A Roman epitaph for Cantius Darbius, Risia, Terentius and Vercilla is immured on the western outer wall under the staircase to the music choir. Another Roman tombstone with a relief of servants and scribes is on the north wall.

In the three-bay nave, a deeply drawn ribbed vault from the 14th century rests above capitals with two round services each . A pointed triumphal arch with fighters connects the nave and the higher one-bay choir with a five-eighth end . A ribbed vault rises above consoles in the choir. A neo-Gothic portal with an iron-studded door leads into the sacristy. A round arch arcade with fighters from the 19th century opens the nave to the side chapel on the north side. This two-bay chapel with three-eighth closure is provided with a groin vault from the mid-16th century. From the west side of the chapel, a late Gothic portal provides access to the tower. A Last Judgment, painted around 1430, was exposed on the triumphal arch wall in 1947 . A fragment of a Roman epitaph is embedded in the floor.
