The Roman Catholic branch church St. Sixt is located in the district of Straß bei St. Sixt in the municipality of Neukirchen am Walde in the Grieskirchen district in Upper Austria . It is consecrated to St. Sixtus and belongs to the parish Neukirchen am Walde in the deanery Peuerbach in the diocese of Linz . The building is under monument protection ( list entry ).

history

The St. Sixt branch church was built in 1488.

architecture

The Gothic church building has a single nave. The ribbed vault in the choir is a special feature.

Furnishing

The church houses a Gothic Madonna figure. The Marienglocke dates from 2012 and was designed by Franz Frauenlob.
