history

To the south of the nave of the late Gothic church, a baroque aisle was built as a chapel of St. Bernhard cultivated.

architecture

The late Gothic hall church has a three-aisled, four-bay nave. Since the windows are in the pillar axes, a peculiar three-star ribbed vault was created. The retracted single-bay choir, vaulted with a pendent dome, closes with an interior rounded three-eighth end. The three-axis, two-bay west gallery is arched with mesh ribs. The tower in the southern choir corner has a pointed helmet. The five-bay chapel in the south of the long house has stitch cap barrel vaults and stucco moldings. The south and west portal and the sacristy portal are Gothic. The sacristy is vaulted with net ribs.

Furnishing

The high altar was built by Franz Stadler in 1765/1766 and shows a high altar painting Baptism of Christ by Bartolomeo Altomonte (1766). The side altars are neo-Romanesque. The Rococo pulpit was built around 1770. A figural crucifix and the Sorrowful Mother of God in the nave are from the third quarter of the 18th century. The altar of the Bernhardskapelle is from the third quarter of the 17th century and shows a painting Beheading of St. Barbara.

A coat of arms epitaph S. Friedrich von Neidhart with 1689 is in the choir.
