Filipa Leal

Filipa de Mira Godinho Grego Leal (born March 14, 1979 in Porto , Portugal ) is a Portuguese journalist , poet , screenwriter and television presenter .

Life

Filipa Leal was born in Porto, studied journalism in London and, on her return to Porto, mastered Brazilian and Portuguese literature at the university there.

In 2003 she made her debut as a writer. Activities as a journalist for television, radio and various newspapers followed. Since 2017 she has moderated a literary program at RTP II. Parts of her work have also been translated into Spanish.

She received an award for the script for the film "Jogos de Damas" (Ladies' Game) at film festivals in Cyprus and Copenhagen .

She lives in Lisbon .
