Film copy maker

The film copy maker was a state-recognized training occupation in the FRG until 1982 . He was replaced by the film and video laboratory technician .

Job description

Film copiers reproduce existing film recordings that have been saved on photographic film or video tape or digital medium.

In so-called film copying plants they produce large quantities of film copies for the cinemas and for the television stations. They ensure that everything runs smoothly right through to the finished film and a film copy that can be screened or broadcast.
