Final Exit was a Swedish hardcore band from Umeå that existed in the 1990s and was a side project of the band Refused .

history

The band, founded in 1994, consisted mainly of members of the much better known hardcore band Refused. Dennis Lyxzén was the singer there, Pär Hansson played guitar, Kristofer Steen bass and David Sandström drums. For Final Exit, they swapped instruments and played old-school hardcore in the style of US bands from the 1980s. They released their first album, Teg, in the year they were founded. The second album Umeå followed in 1997. After the following tour, Final Exit broke up.

On the occasion of the Umeå Open festival at the end of March 2007, the band gave a one-time reunion concert. In April 2007 the complete discography of the band was published as a compilation album Det egentliga Västerbotten .

In 2008 Lyxzén and Sandström founded the hardcore band AC4 .
