Dennis Lyxzén (born June 19, 1972 in Vännäs ) is a Swedish musician .

He became known as a singer of the legendary hardcore - band Refused , the end of the 1990s, shortly after the release of her album The Shape Of Punk To Come dissolved. Parallel to Refused, Lyxzén (and the other Refused members) played in the much lesser known hardcore band Final Exit , which also split up in the late 1990s.

Lyxzén later founded the rock group The (International) Noise Conspiracy (abbreviated T (I) NC). Both bands have a strong (left) political stance based on the working class origins of their members and in song titles such as Worthless Is the Freedom Bought ... , Protest Song '68 ( Refused ), The Subversive Sound , Capitalism Stole My Virginity or Bigger Cages , Longer Chains (T (I) NC). Lyxzén also advocates animal rights in public, and he himself lives vegan .

Since 1999 Lyxzén has also released three albums of his songwriting project The Lost Patrol Band, which - with the exception of the debut Songs In The Key Of Resistance - is not very political and focuses on personal experiences.

In 2005 Dennis Lyxzén produced the self-titled album by the Swedish punk band Regulations, which was released on the HC / punk rock record label Havoc.

In 2008 Lyxzén founded the hardcore band AC4 together with ex- Refused David Sandström and members of the Swedish hardcore punk band "The Vectors". In January 2012 there was a reunion of the band Refused, who announced some festival appearances this year.

Together with Inge Johansson (T (I) NC) and Stefan Granberg (Randy) Lyxzén also runs the label and club Ny Våg in Umeå.

After Refused broke up, Lyxzen founded the alternative rock band INVSN with bassist Sara Almgren, guitarist Anders Stenberg, drummer Andre Sandström and keyboardist Richard Österman . The band is planning their album debut Razor & Tie for fall 2013.
