INVSN is a Swedish rock band. It was founded in 1998 under the name The Lost Patrol as a solo project by Dennis Lyxzén , the singer of Refused and The (International) Noise Conspiracy . In 2004 the project was expanded into a full band called The Lost Patrol Band . This was renamed Invasionen in 2008 and has had its current name since 2013.

In contrast to Lyxzén's other projects - a hardcore band as well as a '60s-influenced rock project - he struck rather calm tones with The Lost Patrol; the songs on the first album, some of which are reminiscent of Elvis Costello , can best be assigned to the folk spectrum . In 2004 the project was expanded to a full band, which from then on was also reflected in the name, which was changed to The Lost Patrol Band. The band's 2005 album was known as power pop . Due to legal disputes with an American band with a similar name, the group renamed itself to Invasionen in spring 2008 .
