Findláech from Moray
Findláech of Moray (also Findláech mac Ruaidrí ) was the Mormaer of Moray (Muireb) (1014-1020) and father of MacBethad .
The Ulster annals called him rí Alban ( sub anno 1020 ), in German "King of Scotland". The Orkneyinga saga calls Findláech Jarl Finnlekr . The Ulster annals inform us that “ Finnloech m. Ruaidhri, ri Alban, a suis occisus est "(in German" Findláech, son of Ruadrí and King of Scotland, was killed by his own people "). In the annals of Tigernach it is said that the sons of Máel Brigte, d. H. Máel Coluim and Gilla Coemgáin , Findláech's successors, were responsible for Findláech's death.
