Fire Department ( Engl. For firefighters ) is a computer game series from French manufacturer Monte Cristo , in which the player various missions as part of a fire brigade must meet. The latest edition, Fire Department 3 , came out in March 2006.
history
On October 1, 2003, the first version of Fire Department appeared, which comprised 34 missions in nine different operations. About a year later, in November 2004, Fire Department 2 was launched. Above all, the graphics and the control of the vehicles have been improved. Version 2 comprised 15 missions, each of which had to be completed in groups of three. The last version, Fire Department 3 , which includes thirteen new missions for the time being , has been available since March 28, 2006. Since the first version, players can choose the nationality of their fire fighters from German, French, British and US-American .
Course of the game
In each edition, a training mission must first be completed in which the player can familiarize himself with the operation and control of the game (which is slightly different from version to version). The scenario takes place on the practice area of a fire station. Only then do the actual fire brigade operations begin. For every mission there is a (more or less detailed) video report and a mission order. If you have completed an operational level, you can order reinforcement units to the operational area. As you progress through the game, both the difficulty and the number of units available increase. In addition to normal firefighters and tank fire engines , for example, you also get control of an emergency doctor , a technical manager and special forces with heat protection suits and fire engines designed for forest fires on difficult terrain. There are tasks that can only be carried out by a special unit (opening gates forcibly, explosive devices).
