The former fishing company of Heogan is located in the settlement of Heogan on the Scottish Shetland island of Bressay . In 1997 the facility was included in the Scottish List of Monuments in Category B. The historical value relates to the building group and not to the individual houses.

description

The facility is located on the northwest coast of Bressay on Bressay Sound opposite the northern foothills of the city of Lerwick on Mainland . The building dates from the late 19th century. Compared to similar systems on the island, it is large. The group of buildings, consisting of a central building and elongated warehouses, can be easily recognized from Mainland across the Bressay Sound. In the south there is a pier with a loading crane. The buildings are traditionally plastered with Harl and end with gable roofs , some of which have modern corrugated iron roofs . The edges of the building are set off with sandstone .
