The fkk-jugend e. V. is an independent youth association and sees itself as representing the interests of children and young people up to and including 27 years of age in the associations of the German Association for Naturism (DFK), as well as promoters of youth and naturism in Germany. By contract from 1977, the association is the DFK's youth organization, registered in the Hanover register of associations since 1956 and pursues charitable purposes.

The association organizes a total of around 200 events annually, the majority of which are held regionally by the regional associations and club members. The Federal Association of FKK-Jugend e. V. sees itself as a coordinator and sponsor. At the federal level there are annual summer and winter camps, the alternating year federal Whitsun camp and ongoing training events for youth and exercise leaders, advanced training courses, workshops and seminars. Also for international, naturist youth encounters the fkk-jugend e. V. Organizer and organizer.

In 1953 the fkk-jugend - Bund der Lichtscharen was founded and was involved in the youth movement and a founding member of the Ring of Young Bünde (RJB) . In March 2007, Kerstin Siebenhaar and Stephanie Kogge were elected to the board for the first time in the association's history.
Organization and structure
There are seven regional associations (North, Berlin-Brandenburg, Lower Saxony-Bremen, Central, North Rhine-Westphalia, Bavaria and Southwest). Analogous to the organizational structure of the DFK at the German Olympic Sports Confederation (DOSB), it is integrated into the structures of the German Sports Youth and works closely with them there. There it is a member of the “Association with Special Tasks” (VmbA).
The federal executive board is elected every two years by the highest body, the federal assembly. It consists of 5 board members (federal chairman, deputy federal chairman, federal treasurer, assessor of the federal government and the federal youth spokesman), the first three are executive according to BGB §26. A supporting individual membership is possible at any age. As an association organ, the fkk-jugend e. V. publishes its naturist magazine "aktuell" every quarter.
At the international level, the association is represented in the European Naturist Youth (ENY), the European youth organization of EuNat within the International Naturist Federation (INF) and participates in their annual INF spring meeting (INF - Youth Spring Rally).
