The Flat Foot Stompers played in the 1974 and 2011 at the Stuttgart area traditional jazz in the style of King Oliver , Bix Beiderbecke , Red Nichols and Louis Armstrong .

Participation in jazz festivals

The Flat Foot Stompers toured regularly in Germany, Switzerland, Holland, England and Scotland. They took part in important international jazz festivals, e.g. B.

There are several albums from Flatfoot Stompers, of which the CD Flat Foot Stompers and Friends , published by Timeless Records , is still available in stores.

The musicians

This is the last formation of the band: Peter Bühr (clarinet, saxophone, moderation), Ernst Eckstein (cornet), Wolfram Grotz (piano), Jochen Lamparter (banjo and vocals), Will Lindfors (drums), Roland Müller (trombone and vocals ), Uli Reichle (tuba). Well-known jazz musicians who have performed with the Flat Foot Stompers include Wild Bill Davison , Peanuts Hucko , Bob Haggart (2001) and The World's Greatest Jazz Band (1985).

Separation 2011

The musicians of the Flat Foot Stompers separated in 2011 and founded two new old-time jazz groups, which today perform under the names SunnySideUp Jazzfellows and Peter Bühr and his Flat Foot Stompers .
